I am You There are several times of awakening in a life still quakening In gentle or harsh rediscovering of life gone by, this recovering Some things we bless by the moment others we bless by their torment that it is gone but it comes back again sometimes we know that sometimes, we bend It is this, this moment here, and now that I must take a breath, and how much it hurts, this pain, so deep but first I must, before I sleep Know Know that in this here and now, That people come, and some, Somehow, Feel And in their feel, translate, A moment’s qualm In warmth, equate The feel, The hurt The deep Transpires And before the fall in this deep quagmire They will come to know of them, Their Self And dust their memories off that shelf And bring themselves to the forefront and clear! As their stoic memories share! For their way is all in here Where I am you, and understand ~*~ repost |

(sigh) Oh my gosh, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, yes, I too believe that in sharing memories we can step into another persons shoes when we envision them and then we feel we can relate to someone so much better with compassion to them! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Sunshine! Oh, the loneliness of pain and the pain of loneliness. This poem says it all and only understanding will heal either. May the understanding be there for you always. Shenachie |

Karilea, I have found the perfect way to begin and end my day..... How is that you ask? Why, by reading one of your poems I answer, smiling. Therefore this day began and now ends on yet another perfect note... ...and for that I thank you! ~Hugs nite, Nancy~ ~Sometimes all you really wish for... |

Karilea - I read this several times. I took it as pain felt from a loss of a loved one shapes us, and makes us who we are, and is always a part of us. Dave |
