And blames God "Out of the brightness of his presence bolts of lightning blazed forth. " NIV 2 Samuel 22:13 Did God say to Adam? "Don't chase lightning in the rain Energy will turn to matter And it will capture you in pain Your spirit will surely shatter." A storm blew in with vicious wind As Adam flew with Eve, he knew A pair of snakes hot fire did singe Their energy became bright blue. As Adam looked at varmints cooked Water turning spirits to blood With flesh and bone new bodies looked Beautiful, Adam became mud. Eve said why? Adam, please! Don't fly! As lightning struck her man that day As she held tight with all her might She, too, was made to lie in clay And ever since bold lies were spun As Adam blamed the snakes that crawled And captured woman for his fun In lies man reins with pain to all. And blames God.   (big hugggsssssss) Oh my gosh, this poem too gave me the chills just thinking of the thought of being struck by lightning, I too wish that everyone could learn to take responsibility for their own actions and respect one another! Hi Sandra, Yes, I am sometimes invited to read my poetry in church from the pulpit. Just read one at a wedding in Oklahoma, last Saturday. But usually, I don't see eye to eye with men of cloth. Thank you, peaches73533, for your kind thoughts. Yes, I do think seriously about these ideas. I believe that women, especially have gotten a rotten plate throughout most of history. Truth is always verifiable, I just make the hypotheses. As I stay close to God, He gives to me, these thought streams in subconcious flows and dreams which I pen in poetry.
