There is not anything left that I can do
To make you know how much I love you
For a little while I felt your love for me
I just knew we were always meant to be

Never thought our love would go wrong
Cause the love I felt for you was strong
About anyone else I never felt that way
It was with you I always wanted to stay

Now it seems as if it is coming to an end
There's nothing I can do to make amends
I am sorry but I won't take all of the blame
It wasn't me who started out calling names

I tried so hard to be a real forgiving wife
But nothing I ever did seemed to be right
I even tried to hang on to the hope you gave
False hope I just didn't know how to save

I never saw the hope you said was there
It seemed as though you just didn't care
The pain I feel I just cannot seem to hide
But I hope it hurries up and does subside

I just don't see that there is any way
For us together to be able to stay
Cause I don't believe there is any true love
And love I no longer want any part of

Sue, I'm sorry if this is your life at the moment. I have been there. It's hard to believe sometimes, that something with so much hope and potential just went away. I'll never understand. Take care
