Back At Square One

When will I hear from you
I sit and wonder when
How can I write a poem
Each time I dip my pen

Nursing my heart of blue
I can slowly feel it sink
Will heartaches subside
If I grab a pen and ink

I am sat deep in thought
Are you thinking of me
Only if I heard from you
Heartaches would free

When I am missing you
I’m back at square one
In the silent heartbreak
Where have you gone?

Many sleepless nights
With reasons of sorrow
It as been endless days
Will he write tomorrow

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Hope, I know just how you feel, sweet friend, for the first time ever last October, I found the girl of my dreams, and I pray to God every night bthat I will love her forever and share a lifetime of happiness with her and I will never have to retrace my footsteps to square one, but rather climb pyramids of eternal promise! (kiss on cheek) May heart goes out to you, sweet friend, we all love you so much, may true loves joy forever fill your heart! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Hope, thank you for sharing!

This same feeling could apply to the telephone.
To a letter...an email...a simple answer
on a chat circuit....such a feeling of
emptiness...you have managed to pen it well..
