In Meadow Fair Upon my back in meadow fair where sun blown breezes lift my hair I dream, my lover, still unknown, to me, in clouds, of white be shown Adrift on winds is flower’s scent perfumes my thoughts as I invent A spell is cast on summer noon filling the air with magic tune Release of needs from deep within as webs of fantasy I spin Weaving them on a golden loom with threads of passion I consume Such rainbow hues of love I wove within the silent forest grove While nature all around me played until the setting sun I stayed So many years have come and gone and yet I dream until the dawn Still of a lover never seen just like when I was once a teen Karen Torbiak 2002© Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. Enjoyed this word weaving, You give warm thoughts on a winter’s day, Bringing summertime and youth back into play. Nice that you never stopped believing. Gloom |

Karen, this is soooo beautiful. I pray that God will take His golden needle and silver thread and weave for you the perfect spirit of man, to send to you, soon. God wants you to have a perfect gift. Look up to the stars, for your man is there awaiting your cry. And soon he will come to you in a surprise heated bolt of lightning. Have faith, dear. I feel the serenity and the loneliness of this poem...You pen these feelings with such ease and perfection. |

I Just love the way you write. It is so vivid... I am there, so beautiful and yet so sad.... one wishes that sleep would last an eternity... when the dream world surpasses the real.... I hope you find your true love soon... Well written. Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. |

This takes me back to the days of my youth when the beach was my backyard, bike riding along the strand! Most of all I remember the wind blowing through my hair. I really liked this Startime, you captured the innocence of those long forgotten days. |
