The Winter evening is lonely and the wind is howling my name My body heat is failing me but burning all the same... The night is long as I toss and turn and the sweat rolls in my eyes Round and round and round they go The thoughts in my mind do churn... Once I had a fine lover to shelter and satisfy me But now the emptiness is so defined Such a terrible quandary! Forsaken pillow on my bed Sheets, smooth and soft to feel Silken hair on moonlit wall This picture can't be real... Perhaps I'm just peculiar Whatever is the reason? I've heard it said a hundred times "To everything's a season." Give me tangles in my hair and tear away the quilt Please make love to me right now and make my body wilt... Give me something special unearthly and surreal Tangle up this Silken hair and rapture that will heal.... "No matter how great you are, you'll never be greater than yourself." |
