Love me the way you use to when we first made love when passions flared like rocketing cosmos above run your fingers through my hair while you make love to me treat me like you use to when i was all you could see i loved the way you stared at me when you thought i did not notice as if i was bare but in the mirror i caught you as i was brushing my hair even when you read the paper while i sat on the couch of blue sage again i would see you peek around the edge of the sports page i know you still love me in your own way even though you sleep in the recliner after working all day and i cherish this gold dipped rose a sweet valentine touch a gold band around my finger shows you still love me more than just very much Love me like you use to like the moonlight upon the sea love me like you use to when River Road was our eternity "Silence is a friend who will never betray." — Confucius [This message has been edited by Victoria (02-15-2002 12:09 PM).] |

*sigh* I think we forget the love and romance take effort to keep it shining and alive...If only we were willing to put in that effort more than one day a year...**big hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

The passing of time changes a lot of things. Reminds me of a song, ~not for an hour but for always love me truly from the start, with every beat of your heart!~ (I'm dating myself now) This was very pretty Victoria~ |

Hm, I was thinking this recently. How someone that you were so close to, who apparently loved you so much, can be so profoundly unconcerned and even unknowing about the problems and lack of romance. Wonder how that is. Nice write, Vic. Sandra |

i loved the way you stared at me when you thought i did not notice as if i was bare but in the mirror i caught you as i was brushing my hair Its so wonderful to be starting over again...David and I still have all the romance because our marriage and our lov are stillbrand new.....but your poem reminded me a lot of my first marriage, which lasted 34 yrs. I knew he loved me, but oftentimes, it seemed like he was taking me for granted...and I probably did the same for him. Thanks for sharing this, Victoria ~many many hugs~ copyright2002 Lyra Nesius |
