Ok. Here it is, 3 a.m. (my time) and I'm wide awake. WHY you ask?(even if you didn't I'm telling you anyway!) Because I went to bed at 7:30. Why you ask? (do we really need to discuss this?) Because I was so tired from one of the worst weeks of my life at work! In the last two weeks TWO employees in my department were fired. I was happily doing a special project and was pulled off that to go back to my 'former' position. At first I was told I'd get a promotion and raise. That was when the first girl got canned. Then the second one was let go. So I've been going in early, skipping lunch to work at my desk, and trying to leave on time. Mentally, I'm exhausted. And still, no promotion, no raise. They did this to me in another department there once. Promised me something if I'd stay and it never materialized. "What would we do without you?" is what I'm hearing now. Because of my work ethic, I can't let things go..I have to help...the people we represent are depending on us and because WE have employee problems, there is no reason for them to suffer. So here I am, 3:15 a.m. and can't sleep. Sigh. Thanks for listening (and for those of you who skipped over my tirade and went to this last paragraph, it's ok. I understand! LOL) |

Here it is 4:30 a.m.? and I just woke up and the front door was wide open. SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME. Just counted the family? All here. I think everything else is still here. I'm still sort of shaken. I don't know if someone has been in here or not. It's a creepy, creepy feeling... |

PDV, Whew work what a hassle! My advice (and it's free so is probably not worth anything) is wait two pay and if you don't see the money (show me the money) Politely suggest they promised a raise, promotion and if that doesn't work you can always work to rule.(go in on time finish on time etc.) The thing that I do know is you let them treat you like a doormat that's what you become. Anyway isn't three am a great time for writing...The other thing is become famous and rich then you won't need the job. Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. I did the same thing last night - I was totally exhausted - dozed at 7:30 - figured I could get a catnap and then I'd stay up late posting here... The nap was great - I felt really super... got back online to continue playing at Passions - AND MY ELECTRICITY WENT OUT!!!!.... I couldn't do anything except sit and stare at dark candle-lit walls...!!!... YIKES... |

Well.......I went to bed at 12am last night which is early for me. I was mentally exhausted due to a conversation with my X....woah........a lot of heart to heart stuff went down. :smokin I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

ain't it the pits tho....I can go to bed at midnight, wake at 4:00....go to bed at 10:00, wake at 3:00...seems anymore 4 hours is the minimum I need to get by, sometimes I take on 5....which makes it you know what for the rest of the household [well, really, the dog doesn't mind....she just looks at me and goes back to bed....] what I'd LIKE is to be able to get up and go to bed as the "NEED" arose...not by someone else's timeclock... say Sharon if you don't mind....what is it that you DO do? |

Sharon I'm sorry! If they promise a promotion and raise, I'd ask for it in writing! Then you got em! Ya know, the trouble is not being able to say NO! I seem to have that same problem. Today a BAD day for me. I know for you as well. With friends like them, who needs enemies ya know? It won't be long, things for you will get tremendously better!! |

Give it a little more time...............ok, times up!!! j/k I say go to sleep, don't let it bother you. As long as they don't give it to someone else. You at least know your next in line when the promotions needs to be done I see no changes, wake up in the morning I ask myself, "Is life worth living or should I blast myself" TUPAC SHAKUR |
