When you take a whiff of Cream of Mushroom soup, does it smell like mushroom, or ~dust~?

I smell dust, should I be eating this?

*stuffs mouth*

I mean, really, should I?

C'mon, you guys know dust has a smell..

Dude, okay.. Brocolli soup has never smelled "farty" to me.. it smells like brocolli.

As for the mushroom crap, I had nothing else to eat.. but I ate some brownie too, it wasn't magical brownie, but it was good.

And all was nice in the world again..because of the brownie..

I need to go on a diet. haha

once, i did dye my hair a weird red ish colour, when i was younger, i wish i still had the photos. and once it ended up orange. no joke, trying to make it go blonde. i remember wanting to kill myself.
i did NOT go to school the next day.
instead i went to the hairdresser, who tried to put a brown over it, but of course it had a lovely green tint to it.

i never learn.

i have photos of that, but oh. nooooooooooooo.

LOL  Cream of mushroom soup should smell like Cream of mushroom soup, not dust.

But what I would like to know is, what does cooking Oil smell like when it goes bad?  I want to make cookies, I had this oil for oh about a year.  LOL

Cooking oil does go bad, but I'm unsure of the smell..

Gem - I've bleached my hair so many times, it usually comes out this really pathetic orange color, but last time I just put these cool pinkish streaks in it and it looked cool. As the summer went on it actually lightened because of the sun. I love reds, though, the dark one's. Right now I have this awful fading black going on, it looks as if I'm going grey. Off to buy some dye tomorrow, lol.

Why not eat toast and fresh butter, or some really tasty yogurt or cottage cheese? How about a veggie sandwich from the deli in town..

See, there's a lot of things better than eggs..

like this thread, for example.

I'm growing it out now, though.. for winter. I'll be excited when I can put it all up in a ponytail..

That just made me think of all the things people use on their hair to lessen damage..

Beer, mayonnaise, and ...eggs.. Here's an excerpt from a website:

"Beat an egg and massage it into freshly washed hair. After five minutes, rinse it out with cool water. Do not use hot water or you will have scrambled egg in your hair. Then you'll spend all morning washing it out. "

Ohh..that's really gross. I can't imagine the way one's hair would smell if they used egg, and mayonaise.. I'd suppose it'd be like an egg salad sandwich, wouldn't it?

Just add bread, and you can eat someone's hair..

....umm, yeah.

Not only that, but it's hilarious to me that someone has actually experimented this enough to know that using hot water would cause you to have "scrambled egg" hair.. hahahahhahahaha

Clowns freak me out too Sea.  I mean I don't hate them or anything, but I never understood why they were so colorful with the freaky shoes and big red nose, and everyone was supposed to be made happy by them, yet they have a big red frown....makes no sense to me.

Anyhoo, the reason why I am adding to this thread is to tell all you ladies that one of the best solutions to strip un-wanted color from your hair is WISK.  I know, sounds crazy, but I have done it many, many times.  I was a hairdresser for 3 years, and I have had hair every color known to man.  My natural color is dark brown, but girlfriends...I have had platinum blonde babe hair...hehe, I look back now and... what was I thinking?

Another good thing to try is to wash your hair with baking soda.  Mix it with your regular shampoo and wash as normal.  This removes all build-up from your hair.  Vinegar is another one but that takes a strong person.  Have tried that once, and it does make your hair shiny.  My hair is 48 inches from crown to tip, and that is a lot of hair to try and get scrambled eggs out of so I won't be trying the egg in hair thing, simply because cold water can't possible get it out, and hot water tends to cook it as I have learned from reading here hehe.  I have had short hair once in my life, and only because I let a person that I didn't know cut it and the first rule to cutting naturally curly hair is to never pull it tight before you snip it.  She obviously didn't remember this from beauty school and she scalped me.  Now days, my mom cuts my hair and I return the favor.  Had to learn that lesson the hard way.

As far as the mayo goes, I have never put it in my hair, but I have caked it on and laid out in the sun.  Along with motor-oil, afro-sheen, and iodine mixed with baby oil.  That was years ago however, the strongest thing I use these days is that 1.99 stuff from Wal-Mart.

By the way, I love mushrooms cooked like in spaghetti sauce, or fried mushrooms...but I don't like mushroom soup right by itself. I like boiled eggs, too. I like to pickle them. And I love those little petite dill pickles, too.

Bye ya'll. I've got to go to bed....

I'm with Ethel on Gem using the word "bloody"...I just love that!  I watched Kangaroo Jack the other day and now I am stuck on "Goodaye Mate".

Funny how stuff gets stuck in your head, like for instance the song UNWELL, me and my kids love that song!  Especially the part about him making friends with shadows on his wall.  My seven year old can sing that song like she wrote it.

As far as mushrooms and eggs go, I do like mushrooms cooked in sauces and that sort of thing, the Portabella being my favorite kind, and when I was younger I loved "mushrooms" but for a whole nuther reason...hehe
Eggs are ok unless they aren't cooked well, like them people that eat eggs sunny side up.......so when you put it on the plate is smiles at you...........YUCK!  Gag a maggot.  I was on this weird diet once where you had to eat 3 hard boiled eggs a day, so I wasn't on that one long.  Pickled Eggs...no way.  Raw in a glass like Rocky, NOT HAPPENING!

When I was a kid, we were raised fairly poor.  My parents didn't have much money, so if something was put on the table, you had to eat it...thats why I love being all grown up...I can CHOOSE what I eat, and though I try to make my children 'try' things, I would never make them eat anything that I wouldn't!

Ok, speaking of kids...isn't that my daughter in the tree, and OMG!  My son has the cat on the clothesline!

Better get out there before someone thinks that I am as crazy as they are!

I check back later!

Just as long as nobody else responds. Then this thread can die.
