Sure we're all family and you don't want to diminish the importance of anybody around the PIP family but we all have our best friend(s) here, who are yours and why? |

I have been very blessed in my 3 years here at pips...I have had the fortune to connect with many special people thru first our poetry and replies..and in some cases later thru email and phone contact... and in a couple cases getting to meet them in person. Sometimes we discover bonds and places of understanding in one anothers verse...and there are certain people we are drawn to, sometimes for reasons we wont understand till later. One of the first people that I felt connected to by our poetry was me "twin" Sen...Karen and I read mirrors in our verse and knew we had things in common. There are certain people who over time prove themselves to be faithful and that they honor your trust and keep your confidences...that they arent just playing cyber games and that they value you as a real person beyond the screen KA...( theres PEEEEPUL in there)  LOLMy list of people whom I know treat me, and others with that respect and sincerety is long...and that makes me a very lucky person. They know who they are by the parts of me that I have trusted them with, and for the longevity and constance of our contact since I have come here. That list includes all me "moth girlies" and even a couple "honorary male moths"(right Capt and Dunc?) LOL and then there is that Parasite bug dude and an adorable randy dragon. *winkiewinkie* I thank them all for all they share and teach me and for all the inspiration. Thanks guys...heart and soul.  I have had the greatest gift given in meeting first here, and then in person, my heart-light...my life-line...my best friend, Mark Bohannan...what I have learned and found in our 3 years(this month)has changed who I am and how I look at the world and I cant image a day...a minute...a breath of my life without him in it. I love ya MC  Also me girlie Kris (snowpants) my road trip partner in crime and my personal photographer of life. she lives close enough that we are able to hang out at least once a month. well since you asked-probably Gem. shes such a sweetheart. Of course you're up there too..so is Ethel, Nancy and Chris..Riley..Duncan (even though he's a peice of work) but I love all of you, its too hard to pick a favorite. I've met a lot of people here, some are better poets than friends, some are both. I couldn't say i have any enemies- there are certanly people I don't like..and people who disaagre with every word I said. acualy there used to be someone I didn't like- but they're gone now.. I'll keep it brief. Please don't anyone feel offended because I'm going to go for some tops, and if you're not included then it's nothing personal. Those at the top of my list (in descending order) are Child of the Stars, Janet Marie... and I'm trying very hard to think of who to place third... but those two are probably the ones with whom I have the most profound connection in these blue pages. I have made some friends very recently who are fun to talk to but whose friendships with me have less to do with poetry... let's say along the lines of Aenimal, Serenity Blaze and littlewing... there are many with whom I have a deep fascination because of their writing, but have never or very seldom speak with them... like Allysa, Riley and bsquirrel. I always accidentally leave people out, so if someone wants to correct me then feel free. Faith is a fine invention |

In chronological order some of whom I've gone, or am going through rough patches with but the admiration always remains Karen, not only would i have stopped writing at PIP but I probably would have stopped writing altogether if not for her Brian Sites and our late nite chats about everything and worrying about a certain someone. Also for introducing me to Bukowski..gd Sue, kept me sane or insane either way it's a good thing. Music exchanges and remembering all the cartoons, movie lines and whatever other stupid pop culture references I have stored in my head. Gemma despite the utter abuse and obvious hormonal problems (blame it on the tea) introducing me to more british slang then i can handle and just generally being..well a gem of a person Maree(dark angel) for being so nice to me and for further proving that italians and their culture have truly infested every country defying assimilation and creating the new language of italenglish. "I'm a dere nto caru, stoppato nti lights, mitzaga allofa suddena, POOM ntu redu mi smashau un altra machina" Helen my mirror.. i knows she knows she knows i know... Melissa my fellow canucklehead despite the torture or perhaps because of it(friggin masochist I am lol) Brian Local Parasite extrordinaire though we've only recently met i feel he's pestered me for years. A brilliant yungin who makes me feel old grins As for the others i've only started talking to some or don't talk enough to others inkedgoddess, SEA, Wind,Karilea(major support),wranx if forgot you blame it on the insomnia.. |

We had alot of fun there, didn't we? and there's so many special people, I really hate to start naming them because I'm bound to forget someone and I wouldn't dream of slighting them. Just know that I feel blessed to have met so many wonderful people here at Pip. I really DO love everybody.  |

Awww, Andrew, thank you  *is extremely touched* (NO COMMENTS LOL)Let's see... there's Andrew of course, he's had a profound impact on my life (this is starting to sound like an acceptance speech...), and although we've fought a lot, he's one of my best friends (you can bow humbly now) Vicky, she's had a HUGE impact on me, and I've adopted her as my Mum  PoetryIsLife... I've had some good conversations with him for sure Stacey/Kielo... she's my clone, what can I say? Android17... we talk on a semi consistant basis. Some good convos with him too. Ina... she's a good kid I think that's most of them... if I've missed someone, I deeply apologise, like as not you know who you are anyway |

Cripes, this really pokes the emotions...it might be too early for me to seem coherent, but here I go. Brian (LP) and Felipe (Morouxshi San) are my top two best friends...If it weren't for Brian, I'd have given up on poetry and all that goes with it long ago. I can tell him anything, and be understood...Felipe is my balance, my ground, and my reason. Javier (Dopey Dope) and Tiffany (knightlyshadows) have both made brief but outstanding impacts on my life...I only hope I don't lose them further than I already have. Some 7,000 members...I probably can't name them all... who knows who are favorites are? I'm sometimes accused of making friends too easily, or too rapidly. But Raph, it's a good question. It's nice to come into a thread and see your name...and when you don't, you see names you know. My "best friends" list continues to grow. So I won't name them all. Sometime they "disappear" for awhile, for reasons known only to them. Such is the virtual world. Then, they *poof* back in...and my poetic heart is lightened in the fact that I know once again they are safe, and sound, and home...here, in Passions. My friends are the people of Passions. |
