Raspberries. Can't stand the taste of them. Strawberries I love, cherries are ok, but raspberries-ick! I remember one time during the summer my sister and I went out for ice cream, and my triple fruit sherbet cone I swear was half RASPBERRY.  I don't like them at all.So what flavor/food can't you stand? |

1) Mints 2) Anything originating from McDonald's, Burger King, or Kentucky Fried Chicken. *shudder* 3) Fish, with the exception of tuna, unless it is properly smoked (and therefore made to taste like food rather than bait). 4) Pears. 5) Beer -- talk about NASTY. The only thing worse than the way beer tastes is how it smells on someone's breath. *gag* I could go on ... but I'm afraid it would take a while, and I might learn a bit too much about how limited and unhealthy my diet really is ... I know I'm gonna get whacked with a very large mackeral wrapped in an old edition of the Weekly World News. I just know it. I can feel it in my water....don't ask how....too personal......  Me no likes liver, tripe, hominy, sweetbreads, giblets, most seafood of any sort, and okra. Pickled okra is straight up disgustin....looks like a monolithic loogie or something, all green and slimy and stuff....bleah.... |

Hmm...Beer has a rather sickening taste... I don't eat spinach, boiled okra, any kind of pasta with seafood in it, and I don't really like deer meat unless it is processed properly in those places they now have to process the stuff...even then it kinda makes my stomach turn to think about it. LOL! Hmm..maybe I can think of more later. |

Oh I love onions! But milk Don't know why, I can drink it in my coffee but can't have it straight.I don't like fish. Anything that smells or tastes like fish. YUK! I love orange sherbert, a juicy steak, onion peels from Applebees, and lots of other stuff. Liver, venison, rabbit, okra and GRITS...YUCK! Sure there's more but I can't think of it right now. |

Hmm..more... I don't like cherries. Beginning to wonder why fried fish makes me sick EVERY time I eat it (could I be allergic in some way) Hmm...I don't like whole milk, but will drink 2%, and am working my way around to skim. Hot peppers of any kind are just plain sickening. Why would I want to eat something I can't taste because it burns the taste out of my mouth? Geesh... I don't drink apple, grape, or cranberry juice. Kiwis are slimy to me, so I don't like to eat them. Sometimes the taste of stuff can be fine, but if it feels weird in my mouth, I stay away from it. YUCK! Thats all for now.  |

Mushrooms. When I was a little girl (back before color TV!) there was an episode of Alfred Hitchcock that showed a young boy growing mushrooms in his basement. After he started eating them, his ears got all pointed like Mr. Spock on Star Trek. It must have really scared me because to this day, I won't eat mushrooms or anything with mushrooms in it. (or it could just be that I don't like the flavor!). And though I like onions on a burger, I don't like them cooked. And I love raw tomatoes, but don't like them cooked. I don't like peas. I don't like squash. I don't like fish. (sigh...) |

Sharon you have to try them sautéd in butter with a bit of garlic salt. YUM  Temptress you might be alergic to something in it. I'm the same way with eggs. Though I'm not real hip on them, I crave to eat them once in a while. Took me a while to figure out why I was getting stomach pains and chills, and it finally dawned on me it was from eating eggs. Needless to say, I stay away from them now. |

RAW ONIONS!!! OMG!!! I was eating a salad once, and I was talking, and didn't realize that it, well, wasn't lettuce!! AAAACCCKKK!! No kind of gum, mints, or anything with menthol in it took the taste away!!! Strange twist, but I had tonsillitis and a 102 fever for the next week after that!!  EEEWWWW!!!!! (sorry, but I absolutely LOVE anything raspberry!! Including fresh raspberries....mmmmmm My aunt used to have them in her backyard... everytime I close my eyes, I see your face, I taste you on my lips... every night I fantasize that I can feel you on my fingertips... |

Mm, I love raspberries.. ^_^ But I don't like hot (spicy) foods.. or garlic.. and avocado.. yek.. or, if the smell is anything to judge it by, no, I don't like poop either, although thankfully I have never had occasion to taste!! ^^ Oh, and I hate seaweed.. I can never understand how ppl can eat that.. it's sooo disgusting.. ^^ Don't like steak either.. it always tastes like eating.. well, like eating dead cow.. hehe.. but raspberries.. actually, I like most fruits.. |

Peas - What on earth is the appeal of some slimy little thing you can barely see that tastes like NOTHING except YUK? Apricots - But apricot flavoured stuff is great. Strawberry flavoured stuff - But strawberries are great. Slugs - not high on my recommendation list. Chocolate ice cream - but chocolate is wonderful. Chocolate cake - re: above. Marzipan - shudder. Okay, I'm back after finally answering some kind of weird call to try some real fresh raspberries, and while I can say they're not awful, I really don't care for them. I could tolerate them, but it isn't something I just HAVE to have...kind a like the blackberries (plump and sweet) that were sitting beside the raspberries when I wandered in looking for something sweet but not sugary! I do like raspberry scented stuff, and some raspberry flavored confections. Not many though, and could someone please get RID of that ghastly flavor, BLUE RASPBERRY! ? Its gross. It really is. |

I don't have much of an opinion of raspberries....although I like blue raspberry Icees....is that so wrong?! *sobs* LOL....anyways, things I despise... ~kidney beans- they taste like eyeballs ~mushrooms- see above explanation ~spaghetti- I like just about every other pasta..like spaghetti sauce alone...would someone explain to me why the noodles and sauce together grosses me out? ~anything pig- pork chops, bacon, anything....ewe....except pork ribs well smothered in barbeque sauce....that I can handle....I think it's because you can't taste the pig...just the BBQ sause, LOL ~grape flavored things- although I love grapes... hm, I think thats about it....I'm pretty open to things otherwise.....  *Krista Knutson* I'm a slow dying flower In a frost-killing hour The sweet turning sour and untouchable... -Natalie Merchant |

All I can do is laugh at this thread the further down it I read... you guys are too funny especially Dopey_ Dope...haaaaaa~Wynter I guess I am the only one who likes Liver and loves Seafood..Of course I come from MD where they do have the best steamed crabs and crabcakes ever...
