for re visit
unworthy of effort

Handing over
my pennies and pounds
such little amount
can buy so much
unwanted memory

Faceless faces
between he, she, and I

Their eyes never manage
to match yours
and mine still linger
over mop top cuts
and staggering legs
that look
for a second
just like yours

I stood here once
hairs raised
upon sweaty neck
alive
in us
without you

knowing
beyond dark lights
and unfitting beats

you were mine

and now

nothing fits
at all

feign illness
as someone
stands on unpainted toe

erm...you should turn yourself into a fish..cos fish have a memory span of 3 seconds.

if that doesn't work, then buy some of that yellow barrier tape they use at the cop shows and put it around this place

Very nice, gem. I know how this is. I remember looking around certain places and you swear, for a second, that that hair belongs to them, that they have a shirt that color, that they have that smile.. but it's not them.

My place is on the base where I work...its a dirt road that leads to the river...we sat there once and talked...I go there now by myself to remember....and it hurts.
