Icebergs drip under starlight.
Frost clouds floating by.
Shed themselves to the water.
Black sea stars burning by.
Buoyed mountains of ice
sparking with cold lights --
distant as a fire
or a warm home to die.

Again you show me something that your imagination can conjure, which I couldn't even think of picturing. You're a powerful poet, Mike, and this poem is evidence of it...

I loved the blackness of the imagery here. Especially the black sea stars, that has to be my favourite part of the poem... just incredible. Kudos---
