They wonder why I don't keep time. I watch the shadows in his eyes. I wake up to "Dick Van Dyke..." each night I watch "Jack" axe "the shine"-- A distance just ain't natural-- I have a hopeful bent in me. But I am just a hungry child, weeping outside bakery. I am starved for want of touch... a tender hand and just a smile. I hate myself for eagerness-- pathetic--I have been defiled. But even a dog on a chain is grateful for a bit of bone. A child will let a stranger in when she is often left alone. I am the pegs of bumper pool-- all of them, they bounce from me. Then they place the blame of miss-- when English is what's blasphemied. I feel chips of me are gone from years of bouncing ball. Featherless, an angel falls-- and tears of love become a psalm. |

Wow, powerful writing, Serenity... a lot of feeling in this one. I love the image of the angel taking a plunge in the end... very tragic, morbid even... Very nice writing. Just hope you still have some feathers. Parasite Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. |

feel chips of me are gone from years of bouncing ball. Featherless, an angel falls-- and tears of love become a psalm too much in here to talk about... but the whole of it is also too close to ignore... |

I was just about to leave, because I have work to do... then out of the corner of my eye I saw the first line of the following quote. I am starved for want of touch... a tender hand and just a smile. I hate myself for eagerness-- pathetic--I have been defiled. You blew me away, so here I am, breathless, crawling back to say well done. Kielo |
