My son bemoaned the fact tonight that he is oh-so-white: I told him it's a birth defect-- then hugged him with a kiss goodnight. * * * It's okay. My son KNOWS me. and? he's clever in his ways-- I don't even have to *wink*-- he smiles evilly--in sync. * * * and yes, I guess that I am best at teaching so sarcastically... as long as my son passes test? Chalk one up for victory. * * * He knows his friends are welcome here-- when sometimes mine are best forgot. Friends walk in--in any skin-- for color is a thing that's not a sin within this home... I'm pretty white myself. Heh... Guess he takes after you, judging from your picture.  Great writing though, I fully enjoyed this. Very touching. Parasite Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. |

This is a wonderful piece and a wonderful way to look at things. It is sad that, even now, so many people judge by the color of someone's skin. I'm glad you aren't one of those! Most of us go to our grave with our music still inside of us. |
