Shocked at the trust betrayed
I stood alone as my body swayed
dry mouthed I heard the story
felt lies smudge upon this glory

a lie isn't a blade
but cuts much deeper
into the heart

a lie turns around
and slaps your face
tearing your soul apart

There is a true story behind this ... it was my day at work. A lesson was learned, I can tell you that. And my trustful nature just took 17 steps BACK.

I still have trouble with my trusting nature...it gets me into trouble wayyyy too often..
