We wake up each morning trusting we will make it through another day Taking every breath for granted Sometimes forgetting to give thanks Showing no emotions for a homeless passerby Endlessly denying what hunger lacks Never suspecting that this could be our last day Too busy for a kiss too hurried for a hug Avoiding constant reminders that life is too short |

I was expecting one of your beautiful love poems, but this is a very good reminder that we should always be grateful for what we have. I thank my lucky stars that I have my family and friends and all of you, without any of it i would be so lonely. (hugs) |
