long have I dreamed of summers past and winters long forgotten of a time when nothing was everything and everything was nothing boyish desires so thick and strong faded away like a summers mist in the present no one can see the time as it sprints down the track of reality to the finish line of life yet every now and then I pause to take a glance behind me at the path I've flown at sonic speeds and the canyons I carved with my footsteps and I see a snapshot or two of memories some easily recognized and others not and it's at these times of peace and sorrow that I see the memory I've never had I see the memory that I've always lived as I drank from the well of life I drank often and sparingly so as to share with those I traveled smiling and laughing as though that's all I knew and the tears I cried were never tears they were the well of life returning to be shared by all once more yes I've carried my share of baggage and weight and been burdened by the choices I've made but I've never been broken against my will though at times it was close to call yet from this well I drank to live I drank to stay alive I drank from the well of life to find the meaning of love and found that life was inside me not hiding but never seen and as I race the track of life I pause to see the past life love joy and sorrow all the same on who you ask so do what your heart desires make peace where you find it to be yet I already know where it is as I drank from the well of life People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid. --Soren Kierkegaard |

"life love joy and sorrow all the same on who you ask" I really liked the message here, and liked the above line the most as it represents "life" itself! -heather |
