My Muse has gone awandering Out in some green field, Her bare feet barely Touching the grass. Here she smiles, her eyes Turned skyward as a warm breeze Feathers her face. My Muse has gone awandering, So absentminded, she, With a daisy clutched Within each hand. She laughs and tilts her chin, She spins around in her White cotton bell skirt, Then falls and rolls upon The softest blades- Oblivious to grass stains. My Muse has gone awandering Like dandelion seed. Her airhead floats high Among the cushiony clouds, Thoughts on vacation, While I...while I... Wait...and wait... For her to remember me. |

I liked to visions you presented in this piece. Very tenderly and colorfully written. Nicely written poem. Write from the soul and the words will flow |

Ocelot, I grudge my Muse...she is a little girl who goes out and plays all day and forgets about her chores, while I sit, frustrated, pen in hand, blank page before me. I envy her that freedom. Keith, thank you for your comments. I am glad you used your choice of words. Maybe she's somewhere near. But I don't think she enjoys the snow. |

I have felt this way often times, wondering if my muse even exists! I guess it does, he or she, I sure hear something driving me. I enjoyed the feel of this piece very much. It had a soft quality to it. Kathleen-- |

I believe I must be someone's muse! LOL... You just described me in the summer...off in lalaland, in the grass, a daisy in each hand... This one really liked me! ~Hugs, Nancy~ ~* A dream is a wish your heart makes... *~ |
