Fields Of Lavender And Roses

Sleeping, I lay in fields of lavender
my soul craves fragrant moonlit nights
moonbeams in colors of roses
your loving whisper
sets my frosted windowpane aflame
white chiffon flowing in fields of pink roses
you stand before me
as I fall like a sparrow from it’s nest
bracing for my final destiny
you catch me in the palm of your hand
cradled in crushed lavender blossoms
and lovely pink rosebuds
I’m not alone
