he believes if he discovers that one, life will have meant something as if that something exists, he abides in a misconception dreaming of absolutes that fullfill desires, blinded by taboos and reason he doesn't realize lying quims and illicit hearts conjure circumstance resulting in agony if and only if, bound and determined he inserts a lover's name when she trembles involuntary when he sinks into the color of consensual eyes, avoiding the hassel he's remains paralyzed denying the obvious he is the one to blame |

and don't we all... very thought-provoking piece...I'm finding more and more that we all DO tend to distract ourselves from the real issue with sad substitions...enjoyed this much. I love the thought behinds this. |

Serenity, thank you very much for reading, and your responses. yes often we deny the obvious, and blame others for our lack of, when really it's up to us to create our happiness. *S* Atov |

Atov....Your poem packs a powerful punch. We do indeed tend to blame others or blame our circumstances for not bringing us happiness. This poem speaks the absolute truth...we must make our own happiness and, perhaps, find the joy of another heart to match our own. Liked this poem very much. ***Ivy Rose |
