My PIPs Valentine

I remember when I was in grade school,
Giving Valentines to all, that was the rule.
As I recall it was my first time to rhyme,
And worked so hard to get them done on time.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
You have a nose,
Like a B52!

It was fun to do and made me laugh so hard,
I really thought that I was quite a card.
Of course I only did for the ones that I adored,
And I’ll it now again I hope you aren’t abhorred.

Roses are red, because I blush thinking of you,
Violets are blue, I hope you feel the same too.
You have a heart, that is the sweetest thing,
That remains true, it makes me want to sing!

So in the spirit of the rules on which I was raised,
Here is my Valentine to all I want to give praise:
Roses are red and so are LngJhnAg, Nan, and Magnus,
Madame Chipmunk, sodpossum and Elizabeth Santos.

Violets are blue and so are JamesMichael, Tiersdin and Startime,
Along with catalinamoon, Silver Streak, peaches and Sunshine.
But then again so are Dr.Moose1, Martie, Suetang and Kethry,
Besides Mistletoe Angel, strbbux, Irish Rose and brianbeaudry.

You have a heart (maybe mine) SEA, rwood, Greeneyes and chrissy,
Including doreen peri, pandora, RosePetal and Mushy.
And sicne he’s willing to pucker up, maybe Duncan too,
Wayoutwalt for informing me that Sy’s a guy too.

There are so many it boggles my mind,
I haven’t been here for that long of a time.
But Bill Charles and Midnitesun as well,
Vandana, Fee and N orth Carolina Girl are pray tell.

I should stop I can’t help myself don’t gag,
Ecrivan, Mistletoe Angel and LngJhnAg.
Irish Rose, briandbeaudry and Silver Streak,
rebekah33, Martie this could take a week!

And a special verse for Balladeer,
Who knows how long poems are in here.
They never and probably this won't either,
For are my screw ups are just a teaser!

I left out one of the best of all,
Not from neglect buy bad recall.
BluesSerenade who is the best,
And friendship I've put to the test.

And to those not mentioned here in this poem,
It is not from neglect but no more room.
And I don’t dare forget to mention pandora,
Because dear friend, I know who you are!

That is classified information. But...since you twisted my arm: MY WIFE, my daughter, my mother, my daughter-in-law and my other daughter-in-law, (three) sisters-in-law, my niece, my niece-in-laws, all my PIPs sweeties and oh yes, my mother-in-law. Whew! Now you went and wore me out. LOL

Thanks for coloring me red, Larry...Its my favorite color!
I love the little rhyme you wrote in grade school....My mother always told me that I had a big nose, so you could have sent that to me and I would probably have believed you.
Thanks for sharing this cute one with us.

I know that isn't a B 52, but at least its red.
