powerfully intense, annals written in the dark hollow stone pillows whose words made poor cushion expression I can barely discern now a story of us-before us your old poems and mine, finding unified voice coming together in a diary drawn more naked in uplifted bliss more sheltered with peaceful-made rest for your mane of gold more noble than sunset storms of past cling to this lover's holiday each day sonnet laughter and mirth we shall defy the cynics of gravity and, like all Angels of God we shall not fall |
