Listen to the softness of water flowing
of flowers that bloom, of love growing
of sighs born of love in silence fill
of the lonely call of distant whip-o-will

Stars that streak from the skies clear
in vision of night cold, dark and sheer
Kisses smothering lips with delight
as gleam of eyes brighten the night.

Touches that chill skin soft and warm
feeling of comfort from within arms
Treasures of passion new and explored
as journeys of love does a river ford.

Chaste not upon the moon hugging low
lest the night dwindle and romance go.
Give into the soft and echoing sighs
as love shines bright within the eyes.

I’m listening, I’m listening….and what a pretty song I’m hearing. Lovely Magnus.

Give into the soft and echoing sighs
as love shines bright within the eyes.

How beautiful is that??

my this is lovely ... in its imagery, its cadence and poetic vocab & phrasing...and in its sensual passionate intend.
Love the title and that last verse is poetry in motion.
very very well done Poet sir

some find subtlety in alone.
Your eyes, you see everything,
my eyes, I see it all together now ... and I know.

Hello Barry

I'm wondering how many times you'll let me use the word "stunning" to describe what I feel about your writing.  Your words always send me to the most romantic of places.

Take care.......Sue

Goodness, I can feel this one and feel the mood you speak of lately. I love it!

For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me.
