Why do I bother to dream Upon a cloud that lays in heavens thoughts To visualize that the words could change the empty pit Into a garden so beautiful that all could see it So in a dream a letter appears to suggest That you have a chance to blossom You investigate in caution But the answer lies in the mists of scams The old saying if it is too hard to be true Then it probably is, floats before you So angel of mercy why did you not show your face Soon enough to avoid the pain Of another bubble bursting in sorrow Spraying me with drowning tears That makes you want to change your verse Into something so sour That your stomach empties in acid burn In the search for an open window That sunshine can come in and dance with me In a prayer that put me on my knees But you broke my window in And brought in the storm To devastate my humble abode Note: This poem was not made for the following quote but for one that takes your writing and gives you hope. In the end run of corporate integrity it flows out like diarrhea. But Enron will not go away for the flu like virus went unchecked. Now we all have to go to the darn toilet only what comes out of us is green and worth a lot for than the stock used for the other purpose. (I just made this up for a smile on a politician who is used to this mess. I could make further comments but then I would not get their vote of confidence.) D Lester, It sounds like it's a good thing dreams are fleeting. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
