i didnt want to be alone tonite
i didnt want to hear the silence
my body hungering for embrace
my neck longing for your face against it
my mouth thirsty for your lips
your breath, your slow and passionate kiss
          your hunger, your urgency...
i closed my eyes
and found that
even dreams
no longer console me
     i am still alone...
hold me--come quickly to hold me...
my body shivers with the thought of you
my aloneness has become too vast
my need has become too long unfulfilled...
i didnt want to be alone
...ever

dg,
I find that it comes and goes in waves or sometimes slowly like the tide.  All that energy going to waste.
Aw shucks, I am way over here and you are way over there!
(Yes, I still lurk around this place once in awhile, groping for my wandering muse.)

even the net sometimes doesn't help this loneliness. contact is the only solution.
I'm ready for some contact sweets.

It is sad when we are no longer consoled by our dreams.
It's a lonely place to be when love is lost.
Enjoyed your poem dg~

*sigh*
Wonderfully wonderful and even in perfect thought with the way I've felt for many nights. I love this, Lady.

I just thought you'd like to know that I used the greeting card feature and sent this to someone I care for deeply. It was perfect for saying what I needed to say to them.

Loved this!
