standing on a shadow's lace

Let’s Dance

for so long you have
been locked away
sitting in silence
in your house of gray
only wishing to the moon
and then there was me
I stir your passions
I have your key
you were dark
I am your light
two shadows that dance
in dreams at night
liquid elixir
is my very spell
you can not resist
I compel
I flow through your day
in sweet surprise
that tickle on your neck
as hairs rise
the tender touch
of a snowflakes kiss
the other you
that you have missed
let us not again
miss this chance
I hold out my hand
let’s dance

"I have already paid for all my future sins."  Sade...(King of Sorrow)

I like the demonstration of insight you show for this person.  To extend a hand sometimes is all it takes to heal a soul.  Beatiful sentiment.
