Waterfall

When I am down and feeling low
I have a special place I go
With jungle growth and flowers bright
Andwaterfall of majestic height
That feeds a pool so emerald green
As unspoiled as was ever seen
With many strains of wild bird's call
Amidst the ferns that grow quite tall
Where colored, haze-like rainbow mist
Through the trees does weave and twist
And all the beauty captured here
That nature paints so bright and clear
Masks the treasure hidden within
So sweet and pure and without sin
Concealed behind the water's veil
At end of a most secret trail
Lies a vision ,a beauty fair
My mistress, lover lying there
With open arms she waits for me
To hold me tight and set me free

My mistress is nature and my lover, its beauty!!

Surrounded by romance that showers, a waterfall is the perfect comparison, a
first rate metaphor, Brian!

Great stuff.  Impressive!

brianbeaudry - it's nice to have such a place. Mine is on Vancouver Island, and I visit there a lot. Very inspiring...
