Looking for you, Finding me
(in memory of Michelle)

Trying to find you
when the sky sends warm
to February
and all the scattered down clouds
have gone to other grief,
I realize,
to be sleeveless
and skip into your place in time
with a smile
is not about looking for you,
but about finding me.

May you continue on your journey with good memories always with you... you make a very powerful statement with few words. Wonderfully done.

Martie,

This is a wonderful poem about the healing process.  I wish you well, my friend.  I'm always here should you need me.  (((hugs)))

Amazing what the little ones can teach us, even after they’re gone. A beautiful piece you have written for her Martie. I’m sure she’s singing it out to the other angels, with great pride.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Martie, With such a soothing sigh, I have to tell you how relieved I am for you both as the process has now started.  Huge big old Canadian bear hugs to you now and always.

I don't know which is greater... my appreciation for your poetry... or the love for the poet that surged forth upon this tender read. *S* I just know both are immense.

This is poignantly lovely, Martie. It reminds me of another poem of yours dedicated to Michelle.

Like your new pic too!
