Someday for I know not when
this spirit shall ascend
Leaving behind an empty carcass
to decay into eternal dust

A spirit journey into virgin territory
only memories left to tell the story
Family gathering around the sepulchre
with a lifetime of pain to endure

Here today gone tomorrow
welcome to your forever sorrow
Tears clinging to hope of any kind
a prayer put forth to the heavens for a sign

Is there life after death
or does it end with the final breath
A masterful creation this process of birth
surely theres more to it than this earth

Each day closing in on the final resolve
Were we created or did we evolve
Miraculous birth gives way to unwanted demise
Finally an answer to what was true and what was lies

For me...I see death as a birth of a different kind...I believe in life after death and believe our death is just a birth into another plane of existance...**big hugs** well that is my personal feelings on the matter...I do not fear death and do not want people to miss me when I am gone for I really have just moved on.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

(sigh) I too believe there is an afterlife when we die, and that we will again see life through a different pair of eyes of any sort! (sigh) Death is something I never wish to think about, it's just something I accept, though this is a very wonderful view of wisdom! (big hugggsssss) I love it, sweet friend, your words are always wonderful to read! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Stevie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light alway sshine upon you!

Sodpossom a good write here and you surely made your point, And of course since we are all born with free choice, the choices we make are up to us. And where we end up is also up to us. There is a lot of food for thought here, and especially the last few days with several posts on this subject. The thing here is to respect everyone while we are here on earth, and to respect their beliefs..   I enjoyed this....floria
