I Stand In Awe

I stand In awe.
As I gaze at the distant icy blue peaks
of the majestic mountains.
It's crown of white, sparkling, diamond studded
snow encrusted peaks high in the sky.
With haunting shades of royal, purple
and cerulean blue.
To me it speaks.
My heart skips a beat.

I am overcome with heart throbbing emotions.
Above the azure sky, with streaks of baby pink and coral,
are clouds, puffy, white and shaded
with colors of the sky,
It enraptures me.

The misty, magical valley below
filled with majestic trees,
Their leaves the colors of honey,
caramel, cranberries, pumpkin and kiwi
Sparkle in the golden molten sunlight,
it's warming rays pouring down on this ethereal scene.
I stand In awe.

Then I see the waterfall,
luminescent water cascading down
with bits of foam and bubbly liquid of the Gods,
Creating it's own mysticism
as the water streams down
to splash against the hot rocks
and huge boulders,
Whose colors sparkle,
as gems of topaz, quarts, citrine, emerald
And the richness of silver and gold.
I am amazed.

Along the cool green velvet edge
of this hypnotizing lake of aqua, sapphire, and indigo,
Are masses of colorful flowers
of every color, ruby, pink, blue, yellow, gold and violet.
The sweet fragrance of flowers
wafting through the morning air
reaches my nose, tantalizing my senses.
The sweet scent of heather and lavender
with spikes of purple and lilac blooms calms me.
I stand in awe of Gods creation.
I am humbled at this vision.

HAHAHAHA that is too funny, well yes I do leave my computer from time to time. It wouldnt fit in our bed. haha, and I take cAre of my six year old grandchild, take him to school, and such, and I leave my PC on all day, and just pop in and out,. LOL,,,thanks for all the replies Lyra, You are really fun to have around, I loved your last poem on womans time of the month..LOL..
