We shouldn't need a special day To tell our loved ones how we feel Even though sometimes our love Can be made to feel surreal We really don't need a reminder If the love we feel is true We should say what we feel more often Without keeping our feelings hidden from view So many rely on the material things Rather than something that money can't buy So listen to your heart and soul And upon the wings of love you will fly A good heart is hard to come by It is worth much more than gold It should be treated so very tenderly And should never be bought or sold True love is so very powerful So cherish it and watch it grow Spread your love around the world And many seeds of love you will sow So the gift I'll give this Valentine's Day Are these humble words from me to you I'll use my pen to conduct my feelings As words of love will be conveyed to you Suetang |
