He Danced Among The Willows

We've been standing on winters footstep awhile
Catching snowflakes in the palms of our hands
Just for today the season had a change of heart
Springs silhouette hung impatiently over the land...

As soon as I saw the winter sky break lose
And, the mighty sun took it's early chance
I knew the heavens parted for a reason
And, I simply knew you danced...

Surely, throughout nature of dull like browns
And, certainly among the willows of the fields
For, the oils of grace always laid beneath your feet
The extreme sunlight was all yours for the steal...

How did it feel to race like the forgiving winds?
To brush against every part of the ground God owns?
What a day for the precious to wildly roam this world
I bet you shined as you danced through the willows home...

Like sequence against a background of pure black
Is how I envision you beneath that sun
What I would give just to be there with you
And, to dance within the willows you're among...

*giggling* I know this is going to sound really silly but while reading your poem I saw Jack Frost dancing across a meadow while the sun tickled him with warm laughter....That is the vision that came to my mind and I love it..thank you. **big hugs**

I enjoyed the peacefulness and the harmony in your poem.
