Nesting Woodsey Winkin'

~*Marge Tindal*~

Tucked up in the tree top nesting
we find Winkin' Nimpkin resting
As hush-a-bye breezes softly blow
all the woods are shushed, and so
Slumber little one while you may
the nighttime fun seems far away
When twi-of-light begins it's fall
you'll awaken to the fireflies ball
Then all Faes and Elves will dance
among the forest they will prance
You will join in the folly and fun
while chasing fireflies on the run
And in merriment they will play
until the rise of sun next day
Quietly Winkin' will again creep
to feathered nest of fast asleep~

How is it that you can take me back to when a lullaby was all it took to sleep?  This is lovely, Marge!  The dynamic duo of pen and paint...you two should do a children's book of poetry!  My compliments, also to your very talented friend.

Marge:  As I read this one I thought you should do a book with your friend and I see most everyone who commented feels the same way!  Any possibility of that?  I would think it would be a hit!

Dear Marge,
The picture was wonderful, and the poem no less. I love it. You should definitely do a book.

This is so sweet and precious and takes me back to the bedtime stories I used to read to my children. I just adore the pictures your friend does. I beg you both to please do a book. Hugs, Marti
