Ah, that feeling... Stark and cold upon the spine Boiling, reeling, pent-up steeling A disallignment of the spirits Oily, darkened serpent, fear it Boldly coiling about your bowels Hissing growls, a roll so stunning In a duel for control Blood all running hot and loose A rushing fuel so profuse Chills and cools to icy pools of confusion, fearing fusion It seeps and fills your souls and wills As shadows fall in lilting tones on your heart and mind and bones It doles out darts of churning light unrefined and spouting bright Coals of burning beasts that roam and stroll the whole greased fold outside of time, to nest and feast within the ghost sublime. |

Thank you very much for your commets I really appreciate them! Despite the dark subject I had lots of fun writing this, I was experimenting with internal and external rhyme with a building momentum of rhythm. ;o) Love, Bonnie |
