~Flow Into The Night~

Flow into the night with me
Feel yourself drifting slowly
Touch the stars caress the sky
Float to delight just you and I

Flow through the misty light
Follow me into night’s starlight
Dare to dream of sweet desire
Feel your soul flying higher

Flow over the dreamer’s sigh
Never question where or why?
Touch my hand and off we go
Drifting sleepily in the flow

Flow into the night with me
Down rivers of stars sleepily
Touch the night with desire
Feel within its simmering fire

Flow into the dreamer’s mist
Into where you were kissed
Desires fade with the dawn
Nought but ashes in the morn

Marsha

This is an attempt at brevity from me, if you all hate it then I shall abandon it immediately. I have absolutely no opinion on it at all. So please feel free to slam it if you want to

Marsha!  I love it!  I love it because most of mine are shorter than this and you call this brevity. I wish I could pull it all together and write one good longer one! LOL...Great stuff here Mushy Girl!

Mushy, this is absolutely marvellous, wonderful and beautiful. I think you should relax, and apprectiate the fine talent that you have. I wouldn't worry about brevity. Just let it flow... The poem will tell you how long it wants to be.

I love your work, Mushy. Keep writing and posting those beautiful jewels. Again, you are wonderfull ... and so very sweet, too.

Noah darling boy YOU are without doubt one of the sweetest souls in the whole world. I still find it amazing that anyone reads my scribbling. That anyone can actually find in them the beauty I see all over these pages astounds me. I feel as if I’m some sort of impostor and soon someone is going to toss me out for pretending to be a poet.

I’m glad you like it thank you so muchly

Margie darling sister of my soul thank you darling girl. I only wrote this because I was asked to try another style you may like it I still cannot see merit in it. However I know I am no judge at all when it’s my own writing So thank you darling sister
