So much in such a short time It feels as though forever When I look into your eyes Their depth of caring Understanding me when I don’t Knowing me better than I do Your smile warms my heart Shows me the power of beauty To wash away any sadness Make me feel vibrant, alive A touch of your hand Softly along my arm Lets me know that I am special Stirs me to my very soul Knowing that the trust and love Is shown without saying By your willing smile Your soft caress Your boundless beautiful eyes Your heart that I can feel When I hold you in my arms And you drift off to sleep So peaceful and sweet Nothing ever happens unless first a Dream - Rod |
