I Am Child

I am child, innocent yet
complete. I am born of
love and devotion. I am
love, truth concrete. I
harbor no sin, I know only
to love and need love.
Take my hand and guide
me togreater truth. Build
upon that which I am.
Give me insight and
knowledge but keep my
innocence. Keep me loving
for I was born of this
and as such would remain
Teach me to embrace
life with compassion, show
me the way to light and
understanding. Enlighten
me to God’s ways. Protect
me from the poisons of
those who’s souls are black
but give me also the
empathy to still love them
in their ignorance for
they were once children
too. You have the reins to
directme. Nurture me in
all that I need to know
and feel, guide me straight
and true, most of
all give me love and
keep me pure for
I am child!!
