I watched you chase tequila shots with beer
a new one every time the waitress passed.

Your choice was clear from my side of the glass.

You grabbed the keys and slide behind the wheel,
tires screeched as you turned the corner fast.

Your choice was clear from my side of the glass.

They pulled your battered body from the wreck
although two others died in that car crash.

Your choice was clear from my side of the glass.

In tears I watched you yelling out "I'm sorry"
In handcuffs as they slowly drove you past.

I am SOOO against drinking and driving! When ever I go somewhere with my family/friends, I make sure that I drive if they drink.
