Seeing You  (Revised)

Beneath this skyline
of
shared latitudes
on
opposite coasts,
you sometimes appear,
a gift,
omnipresent.

I see you
in the clarity of a wintry night,
in shifting constellations,
the stuff of star dust,
close enough for wishes,
but light years away.

From my earthbound perch
on this ancient clay hill,
I sense an outermost solitude,
as if you were banished
from love forever
by some mythic god.

Far off, on a rocky,
isolated bluff,
I see you,
one hand shading aqua eyes,
cursing your singular companion,
Hope.

Corinne,
you always have such amazing writes...must be all the time spent looking at Parker in nature's glory.

I liked the first version, but this is even better... Seems a little different then your writings of late... and it does speak to me, in some way.
