Hello to all my dear sweet friends.
Fancy seeing you again.
Sorry that I haven't been around.
Have been spending time with my children before leaving town.
My bags are packed and I 'm ready to go.
Excited and anxious to hit the road.
So first thing tomorrow to the airport we shall go.
Pulling our luggage behind us in tow.
For you see I am Vegas Bound.
I can already hear the clinking sounds.
I will return sometime next week.
So here's a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
And when I do finally get back.
I'll be ready to jump on the poetry track.
Know that while I'm gone I'll miss you so.
Hopefully I'll get some inspiration and my poetry will flow.
So see me smiling and waving hi.
As I fly way up in the deep blue sky.

You lucky girl. I LOVE Vegas, though it always seems to rob my bank account like a bandit!! If they didn’t have a darn bank machine in every corner…and if my darn bank account wouldn’t keep letting me have access to my money…maybe I wouldn’t come home so poor every time I go!!! Have a great time…though, of course you will…it’s almost impossible not to have a great time there..
By the way, there’s a great Italian restaurant there called Battista’s Hole In the Wall, which I can highly recommend. The dishes sound a little expensive…until you realize that the price includes all the wine you can drink!! (smiles) YAY!!! Vival Las Vegas!!! (smiles) I hope you have a great time there, I've never been there but I can imagine all the lights there and it must be dazzling! We'll all miss you so much, but will all be here for you when you come back! (kiss on cheek) Have the greatest vacation, sweet friend, we all love you so much!
