“SUMMER NIGHT BLUES” by Bill Charles ~~~~ A summer’s night with you, just here, playing the blues… Soft words to you I sing ones I know of, or choose… Guitar plays with rhythm, flows like a gentle breeze… Sounds lurking, in my mind, inside me, to only tease… Listen to words, to believe, yours am I, this very night… A lover wanted close, will you stay, by candlelight… Just playing this 12 bar blues, strumming, wondering if you will… Tonight is when you’ll choose both hearts we’ll fulfill… ~~~~ |

I can relate to those blues they come in shades for all seasons. But there is something about the summertime that plays a different tune. 'Tis true. |

Bill darling boy this was as usual for you utterly utterly wonderful. Its such a special read each word flowing into the next. No one writes the way you do darling boy nobody. You are an utterly UTTERLY superb writer and this is fabulous. I always enjoy your writing this makes such a clear point about natural rhythm this positively sings to me.
