Black is the ink of a thousand fathoms
beyond curve and deliberate struggle
to define one’s self
in signature

in rush
or in perfect stroke of temperament

forge this
and you forge your future

becoming black
as the wick
snuffed out

(sigh) Soooooooo beautifully said, sweet friend, may we all look deep down in our hearts and with love in oneself, find the signature that we will forever autograph deep down in our hearts to embrace each new day with! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, your signature of love always shines in your words! This is gorgeous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Regina, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

no matter how little time or how much time I have
to be online, if you have a poem on here, I immediately
go to it.  Oh, this one went right through me. Excellent,
simply wonderful expression in the lines.  Thank you, thank you.

rwood, once again you have taken my breath away with your words. Well done. Chris

Regina, you fetch my own heart and soul with the brevity and sharpness of this "character" defining work.
