These words I heard
they seemed wise to me.
I stopped and I listened
as truth spoke to me.
It said...
"Don't live in the past
or you won't go very far.
Don't make it your burden.
But carry the scar.
For it is the past that
has made us who we are."

James: The past teaches us many things. Some are very hurtful, but we do learn from our mistakes (or some of us do). One thing that is very important - leave the past in the past and look forward to the future. Enjoyed your beautiful words.
