If I could write a poem, ...of beauty and of grace, Would you take your hand in mine; ...come to a special place? A land beyond the farthest far, ...beyond the Milky Way, Where night is day, and day is night, ...where only Muses play. Urania is our heavenly guide, ...the Southern Cross her ship, As Clio sounds her trumpet gold, ...with touch of satin lip, Erato sings her songs of love; ...sings passion's madrigal, Whil'st Euterpe plays her silver flute, ...the gods she doth enthrall. And all the while, fair Terpsichore, ...will take us in her arms, And dance the dance of one pure love, ...embrace us in her charms. When music fades away to dawn, ...I'll take your hand in mine, Knowing that you'll ever be, ...my Rose, my love divine. [This message has been edited by Tim (01-21-2002 09:58 PM).] |

Yes, I would, Tim...but alas, my name is not rose..although I get pricked by them constantly. I am only a sweet pea. This poem is beautiful! |

Nancy, thank you so much for the gracious reply. Martie, while I may have a special rose here in Kansas, you are one of the fairest roses of all. Your radiant bloom graces us all. |
