Shadow's Passing

I wait in the wings
for your shadow to pass me by~~~

The Sun becomes me,
adds its rich glow.
Your shadow is a safe place
to dwell in, to hide within.

The Sun is shining
through...brightening
the cool, black
of the shadow's casting.

We ebb and flow,
flow and ebb,
our love lighting the flame
that burns within our hearts.

You wait in the wings
for my shadow to pass you by~~~

we touch in the moment,
in the shadow's passing.

Such a simply sensual and soft selection of
superbly scribed sentences so soothing to
my ears....(sorry about the ssssss's)

Just felt like it..

Beautiful Ivy...really nice...I like to use
shadows in my poetry too....
