Where no tyranny is tolerable

It is very early morning.
As I sit beside the window,
I hear the song:
Good morning, Mr. Sunshine.
You’ve brightened up my day.
Come sit beside me …
I walk into the kitchen
And find a box of Sunshine
On the counter.
The box is leaking,
And Sunshine spills
Across the counter and the floor.
I try to skoop it up.
The sunshine feels clean and fine,
Like prestine ocean beach sand,
Soft, and light, and fluffy,
Like falling snow caught in my hand.
I rummage through the cabinets
Looking for something I can keep it in.
I find a large empty coffee can, a pot.
I pour and skoop
The sunshine up
As best I can into the pot.
Then I find a plastic jar
Of what? … liquid Sunshine.
I decide to pour this also
in the pot,
and all the Sunshine suddenly dissolves
into bubbles of Light
which, having been invoked and called forth,
swell and swell,
filling the kitchen and the houseand me
with Light,
Light that could not be contained
Or be denied.

Jaime, you must know that I love this, but only because you painted such vivid pictures...well, that, and because I just really LIKE it!

(giggles) This is sooooooo beautiful and cute, sweet friend, what a beautiful spring cleaning with your words! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, your visions and love you share is always sunshine to us all, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jaime, thank you for sharing!
