My love for you is an ancient love.
As for eons the sun has risen,
on that one perfect Spring morning,
with the purity of Earths fragrance
that transcends all worldly thoughts,
and goes beyond the hearts mere beating,
or feeling of human needs.

As out of the ashes new birth,
this love is reborn from pain,
that it no longer remembers,
and holds you tenderly with cherish.

A love so full and so beyond,
that oceans roar pounding
with passions old upon the sands
of eternal time and neverending,
are as nothing or everlasting.

Loves stillness of a snows early morn
pervades this soul with deep warmth
of old fires quiet flames of joy.
Love that will last above the beyond
of times immortal passing.

You are my beloved, sanctioned by He
Who created all bliss.
and yet...
I shall love you more the morrow.

In all your frailty do I hold dear.
For this essence that is you,
is tender and gentle flame of love.
and so...
On this love shall fire burn bright
in the hearts of our children
and they will one day know,
this love
was an ancient love beyond
all earthly days
or mere mortal understanding.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Ellie, you have taken the oldest feeling since man
and woman begun and made it fresh.
Now, is this why you look so happy?

Mom,

This has to be one of the most amazing poems I have read so far.  I suppose I wouldn't be here if it weren't for that beautuful timeless passion and love.

Ellie, I agree with them all-pthis is one masterfully Lovely piece, which well showcases your wonderful talents.
I am sorry that I misinterpreted the actual object of your poem- but I feel it is also highly suggestive & reflective of the Heavenly Father's Amazing & Timeless & all Pervasive Love for each of us as humanity as well.

Any way you read this poem- it is a fantastic write!
