Synchronicity… a doit/duet by Duncan and Tracey Listen...do you hear it Your heart in time with mine Oh yes my dear I hear it In a lovers perfect rhyme Hold me...can you feel it This need to melt with you Yes my dear i feel it We are one, no longer two I hear your heart call to me, as mine calls out to you Sing to me your lyrics, and I will be your tune Play me like a violin, caress me like the breeze Loving you comes to me, with such perfect ease I feel your hand reach for mine, as we walk without a word With a sigh of pure contentment, of this night I am assured To love you as a story, told once with all my heart Replayed through time eternal, that we may never part Now I write you love songs When I thought they’d all been sung Here I see unfailing love New beneath the sun I will hear your love songs, upon my heart they’ll play I will be there in your arms, each and every day Our love forever holding, there upon the shore Know that I’ll be with you, now and evermore [This message has been edited by Tracey (01-17-2002 01:31 AM).] |

BRAVO! 'Tis about time for a twosome tune from the likes of you two. (as opposed to U2, for which Bono already has the rights) My song for you: With words entertwined, hearts are singing in rhyme. LOVE. Sublime. |

Duncan and Tracey, This puts Peaches and Herb to shame. Very lovely duet. My heart hasn't been touched like this since the kid played dueling banjos in "Deliverance". Honestly, I thought the poem was very good and I enjoyed it. Roger [This message has been edited by True Reflections (01-17-2002 09:58 AM).] |

Thank you all for your replies. Duncan has left the responding to me.. he came up with all kinds of excuses, but the most truthful, was that he’s lazy!!! Lol. He told me that since I posted the poem (which, poet friends, he made me do. Pouted, whined and all the rest, til finally I relented and said I would post it. Don’t ya just hate seeing a grown man whine??) Kacy, lol at you!! Yes, it’s been a long time coming hasn’t it? We were just saying the same thing ourselves Craig, we “doit” with a bit of pouting, a lot of laughing, and a lot of heart Dark Angel, glad you like the romance in this, and for thinking we make a great team Kethry, thank you for your thoughts Walker, thanks so much, we loved writing it JM, your responses are always so lovely. Yes, we are planning an encore, mind you, it might take a while, we’re both procrastinators, you have no idea how long we’ve talked about doing this Noah, big hug to you, and yes..may these love songs forever strum our hearts SpitFire, thank you so much, so glad you liked it True Reflections, high praise indeed, for they were a great songwriting team (are we showing our ages here?? Lol). I am movie challenged, so didn’t see the scene in Deliverance that you mentioned though. OWG, thank you so much, we found it to be a nice fit to write it together Lady Sandra, we like your fortune telling!! Peaches, thank you so much. Bill, so glad you think we write in harmony. We hoped it came across that way Michael, thanks for reading and clapping. Hey Dunc, I’ll doit with you again, and again anytime!!! Oh sure…blaming ME for keeping YOU up again!!! Lol If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? [This message has been edited by Tracey (01-18-2002 07:13 AM).] |
