Motorists blindly head outside their daily routines set aside... suburbanites, avoiding continued blight running out of town in fright. Rushing onto roads in bundles what if the youngest should tumble stop in the middle of the highway? checking to see if family is secure when all around traffic is but a blur? So it is, we zip to weekends running out of town in fright with little foresight office man, makes quick amends what lies between, he doesn't consider fearing what real needs would come hither. Taking a stroll down an empty lane faceless expressions greet window panes; forgotten ones are left behind.... as we run away to a weekend repose our arrogance is too readily exposed, our tied up pets begin to whine... Modern man is in a constant bind; his will is exhausted he must unwind. |

Martin, this is a very wound up poem...you need to take a weekend off to unwind. Keth Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
